Life’s a beach!

I meant that in the positive sense of the phrase – past couple of weeks have been interesting and fun. It has been travel, travel, and more travel for me – mostly to the same place: Hubli. Driving down instead of taking an overnight bus makes the shutterbug in me happy, for I can stop and click anytime. Enroute to Hubli (from Mangalore), is a sign I’d seen and ignored in my past trips; a sign that says: ‘Om Beach 19 km’. This time though, I decided to take this detour and soak in a quick view of the famous beach (thus taking an extra hour and a half to get to Hubli. Totally worth it – Who knows  if I would get to visit this beach ever again!). So here are some (very hurried) snaps from my latest trip.

And finally, I think I’ve figured out why I have not been able to lose weight despite trying everything under the Sun to do so. I’ve realized that there’s a direct correlation between food and my happiness. And I choose to be happy most of the time. So there.

Food for thought!
